A Memorable Day Trip to Mount Titlis, Switzerland
If you are on a trip to Switzerland, you can't miss visiting the beautiful Mount Titlis at all.
During our trip to Switzerland, we stayed at Zurich. So, we plan the day trip to Mount Titlis from Zurich. We booked the trip through Viator, and it was by Best of Switzerland Tours. It was a family trip, and we were 2 adults, 1 child and 2 senior citizens.
The trip starting point was very close to our hotel Ibis Styles Zurich City Center and it was walkable distance from Zurich HB rail station.
We reached the bus station by 9 am and collected our tickets. It was a double decker bus and we got seats on the upper level. We got an excellent travel guide, and she has started sharing lots of information about Switzerland from the beginning. The bus passed by some important points in Zurich and then a few beautiful villages.
We took a quick stop near Lucerne Lake where we took some awesome pictures. Then we went to Lucerne City. We spent 1 hours and roamed around the city.
We started for our main destination, Mount Titlis, and we reached Engelberg around 1 pm. We collected the tickets for cable cars. We got into the first cable car where 5- 8 people can sit together and then from the next level we had to use a big cable car to go to the top. The bigger one can carry around 75 people together.
We were at the top of Mount Titlis. Awesome view and full of snow all over. We spent a few hours, took hundreds of photos, and played with the snow. It was the first snow experience for my son, and he enjoyed it a lot, so did we.
When you are at Mount Titlis and fan of SRK, you cannot miss taking the signature DDLJ moment.
